The Bombam children who came to the Post on Wednesday were on average elementary school age. The Soldiers found several children among them who still did not memorize the National Songs. With great patience, PCC Hendro taught them the lyrics of National Songs, often sung to welcome the Commemoration of the Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, especially the 79th anniversary in 2024. Responding to the Komsos, one of the children named Alex Menjeh enthusiastically said, "Thank you, Om Tentara (Soldier). I remember the National Songs again. Long live Indonesia." The children's enthusiasm and quick learning inspire hope for the future.
Upon receiving the program report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, expressed his pride, saying, "The initiative of the 503 Task Forces inviting the children to sing National Songs is the TNI's implementation of conducting inclusive Social Communication with all stakeholders to support acceleration of development in the Papua region." This positive response from the military leadership not only reassures the success of the event but also underscores its impact on the community.
